I never imagined I'd find myself asking for help, but my family and I have reached a point where we genuinely need support to get through an incredibly difficult time.
I live with bipolar disorder, and while I do everything I can to manage it, there are times when it makes everyday life much harder. On top of that, one of my children is currently waiting for an ADHD assessment, and we're trying to cope with the challenges that come with that while waiting for answers and support.
We've fallen behind financially, and after paying our essential bills, there is very little left for the things most families take for granted. I'm trying my hardest to improve our situation, including looking for work and creating opportunities to earn an income from home, but right now we need a helping hand to get us back on our feet.
The support we're asking for would go towards:

• Two new mattresses as ours are old and no longer provide proper support. A good night's sleep is important for all of us, especially with mental health challenges. Approx. £400

• Clothes and shoes for my children, as they've outgrown so much and replacing everything at once just isn't possible. Approx. £300

• Help towards household debts that have built up while we've been trying to keep our heads above water. Approx. £500

• A reliable refurbished laptop so I can continue applying for jobs, complete online work, manage appointments, and build an income from home through writing and my small creative projects. Approx. £300

Total support needed: Approximately £1,500.
I know this is a significant amount, and I don't expect one person to provide it all. Any contribution, however small, would make a genuine difference to our family. If you're unable to donate, sharing my request or pointing me towards charities or organisations that may be able to help would also mean the world to us.
Asking for help has been one of the hardest things I've had to do. I take pride in trying to manage on my own, but sometimes life becomes overwhelming, and this is one of those times.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness, support, or even simply sharing this request is deeply appreciated.
