Mortgage Help
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about our needs! Any donation is appreciated and will make a huge impact! Please continue reading for my story...
There comes a point where pride has to take a back seat to doing everything you can for your family. This is one of those moments for me.
I was recently diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. While ADHD is often misunderstood, one of the biggest challenges for me has always been executive functioning—managing finances, staying organized, and keeping up with everything life throws at us. I've worked incredibly hard to build systems and improve, but when life became overwhelming, those struggles became much harder to manage. About two years ago, my husband suffered a serious slip-and-fall injury that kept him from being able to work. Losing a significant portion of our household income turned our world upside down. We did everything we could to keep up—cut expenses, stretched every paycheck, and hoped things would improve. But despite our best efforts, we slowly fell behind on our mortgage.
Asking for help has never come easily to me. In fact, it's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I'm a first-grade teacher, a mom, and someone who has always tried to be the one helping others. Today, though, I'm the one who needs help. If you are in a position to make a donation—no matter how small—it would go directly toward helping us catch up on our mortgage and keep our family in our home.
Thank you for reading this, for withholding judgment, and for understanding that sometimes good people find themselves in incredibly difficult situations through a combination of circumstances they never expected. Your kindness, encouragement, prayers, and support mean the world to our family during this difficult season.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
