I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about people making money online using Power BI, especially through dashboards and reporting projects. I currently work a 9–5 job and want to build a side income from home, In the field of Microsoft business intelligence consultants earn money as much as you can but I’m not sure where to start or if it’s actually realistic.
I’ve got basic Excel skills and a little exposure to data, but nothing advanced. Do I need to become an expert before I can start earning? Also, where do people even find clients for Power BI work?
If anyone here has real experience making money with Power BI (freelancing, remote jobs, consulting, etc.), I’d really appreciate your honest insights—what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d do differently if you were starting from scratch.
