Buying equipment for a second workshop bay
#1
We’re adding a second working bay to our garage, so I need another basic set of diagnostic equipment. Sharing one scanner and electrical tools between two mechanics is already becoming annoying and wastes more time than I expected. Instead of duplicating everything we already own, I’m thinking about buying a slightly better setup for the new bay. I’ve been checking https://ecutools.eu/ because they have scanners, testers and more specialized diagnostic equipment in one place. What tools would you consider essential for a second bay from day one?

A separate scanner and a good multimeter would be my first purchases. After that I’d add equipment based on the jobs that actually come through the door. We bought too many specialized tools when expanding and some of them sat untouched for months. Having a smaller set of good equipment at each bay turned out to be much more practical.
